And just like that it’s over…
We’re currently in the middle of moving out of our beloved Carr Street residence.
Sure, we’re going to a great place - one with aircon, a pool, a tropical garden, 4 storeys and a fully stocked fridge - but it won’t necessarily be better. Leederville has been my home (on and off again) for over 2 and a half years and I will no doubt miss it. One of the few late night coffee and retail strips in Perth, Leedy is so convenient and trendy. Being able to walk for 5 mins and find myself purchasing another great coffee book at 10 at night is such a treat!
The black hole we are moving to barely even has a deli.
Not only will I miss the neighbourhood, I’ll miss my housie.
I will miss coming home to endless gossip, drunken nights in, sitting on the couch watching “7mate” all the godammtime, couch chats, hall way chats, kitchen chats, on the floor chats and just before bed time chats. Cheech has become a daily treat and without her quotable word vomits, her love-fashion-life advice and her listening abilities i’m going to be a sad puppy!
Thankfully we have many inside jokes, a book of quotes, some memorable fridge door art and buckets of photos to remember the good times by.
Now on to saving money and getting a tan!

The shop was nice and sunny today. I spent a good time cleaning out our previous window display which was based around two thousand white purple rose petals I brought in.
Today called for something fresh and maybe a little bit sixties.
My outfit is, vintage silver pumps, my housemates denim playdress & a paisley print bandana Henry bought from an Army Surplus store in LA.
